Pink Tulips - a Mini Quilt Finish

When I finished my tulip pillow, I got a text from my sister asking about a pillow of pink tulips for my niece's new window seat.

Well, that's easy enough! And since she wanted two, the pattern worked so much better - the half rectangle triangles mirror imaged themselves in the second tulip, instead of having two leftover HRTs.

I used a scrap of tulip flower fabric as the center of both of the tulips...just some Inception humor for myself. The floral print is an old Chez Moi pink, the dots are Riley Blake Swiss Dots. The green is a quatrafoil...I like my basics!

Quilting is 1" cross-hatching - simple but effective!

I used the remaining white to make an envelope back. The white is a bright white-on-white, which...my niece is old enough for a white pillow, I think. Her window seat is painted white, so I didn't want to go too off-white.

No pretty pillow shots because it doesn't make much sense for me to buy a pillow here and then stuff it in an envelope for shipping!
