BOMs Away - RSC Bonus April

Happy Easter! I hope everyone had a lovely holiday. We went to a friend’s house for dinner, so I only had to make one part of the meal instead of slaving away in the kitchen all day. So nice! And it gave me lots of time in the sewing room to catch up on my Rainbow Scrap Challenge projects!

Look at that pretty stack! Rainbow bits and pieces in all shapes and blocks!

More specifically, it’s two yellow/blue churn dashes for my bee queen this quarter - since there’s only the four of us, I’ll probably make a few more before collecting up some goodies and sending them along. And then four little blocks for Main Street Rainbow - I think I need 11 total, so this brings me down to seven more.

And finally! I pulled out the whole box for Jack’s Chain and counted blocks. I only needed eight more to finish the nine patches, so I made those. And I counted and separated them into left-leaning, right-leaning, and non-leaning stacks, so I know exactly where to start next month.

Look at that - both of my Rainbow Scrap Challenges are nearing assembly and it’s not even halfway through the year! I mean, one’s from 2013 and the other is 2015, but whatever.

And so… Did anyone else work on (or start) a BOM? Or a project broken into {slightly} more manageable monthly pieces? Or a few blocks for someone else’s charity project? Link up here or at What a Hoot!
