Ohhhhh yeah, who’s ready for Christmas in July!? This year, it’s brought to you by both Sarah at Confessions of a Fabric Addict and Nancy from Masterpiece Quilting. I’m doing a book blog hop for Nancy, and a regular blog hop for Sarah. (Psst - go check out the giveaway on Sarah’s post! Christmas fat quarters! Go enter! Also, if you want a head start on Nancy’s blog hop, grab the book here!)
And I suppose you want a sneak peek of my project?
This is all you get, so far. Because - ugh - I finally got a diagnosis on my foot. Significant bone bruising. Upgraded to a walking boot. Trying to sew with my left foot, slipped a bit and put a needle through my thumb. Tetanus shot. Yeah, it’s a bit of a mess over here.
So, I’m trying to finish out the customer stuff in the morning before the hurting kicks in, and building up a small stockpile of these block parts in between. It’s only a table runner, so those Santas will be Ho Ho Ho-ing in the kitchen by next week.
AND, as a bonus, I quilted up a couple Christmas quilts that have been hanging around for a while. Like since the last Christmas in July blog hop. Whatever. The important thing is that they’re done now. You know, if I get the binding on them. So lots of Christmas to come for the next couple of weeks!
And so… Did anyone else work on (or start) a BOM? Or a project broken into more manageable monthly pieces? Or a few blocks for someone else’s charity project? Link up here or at What a Hoot!
