Another month, another tiny piece of Eternal Bloom! How did I ever get a full block done in one day? Probably because I didn’t have an ankle injury preventing me from sewing as long as I’d like.
So Block Ten, Part C! I made the little bloom in the morning, and the second part in the afternoon. The second part, laid out here, is actually SMALLER than the bloom on the right. Sheesh!
But it came together fine and I didn’t have to seam rip and I didn’t burn my fingers pressing all those seams, so….
And then I sewed together A-B-C, but don’t get too excited. There’s still a D section that goes down the right side. So next month, we’ll finally be done. And then it’s just one more block, and of course the borders are pieced, and then it all comes together. Maybe I’ll finish it in time to ship it to Lyn before the move next summer!
And so… Did anyone else work on (or start) a BOM? Or a project broken into more manageable monthly pieces? Or a few blocks for someone else’s charity project? Link up here or at What a Hoot!
