BOMs Away - Pineapple Blocks

  And now for something completely different! I'm getting two t-shirt quilts out the door, so I didn't have much time for Eternal Bloom this weekend...or, you know, mostly the patience. And these were due back to my modern quilt guild, so I did "simple" paper piecing instead. Actually, they were really easy once I got the hang of it. And this pattern, for our guild's raffle quilt - swoon! You could convince me to do a pineapple quilt like this one.

Look at these blocks! They're so sharp! {Well, up to the outer edges - we were told not to trim those.}

They're even impressive looking from the back! Fold and trim and sew and fold and trim and...

This is the layout for the full quilt. It'll be put together and raffled long after we move to Oklahoma, so I'll never see the finished product. Sniff, sniff....unless I win it! Once I have the raffle information, I'll post it. The people more familiar with the law are working out the details on how exactly ticket sales will work.

How did you do on your BOMs this week? Bee blocks totally count! You can link up here or at What a Hoot!
