Make It Do - Finished Flimsy & Pattern Giveaway

So, I have been doing some secret sewing, pattern testing for the lovely Jennie. And I'm happy to say, it's an exceptionally well edited-pattern. Okay, really, it's well-written and easy to follow. Plus, obviously, it works on a very scrappy level! Inspired by the name of the pattern, and the fact that I spent a bit too much on new fabric this summer, I decided to Make It Do and make it stash-scrappy rainbow.

Mine took a little extra time because my scrap bins aren't organized, but once I had everything cut, it took less than twenty minutes to whip each block into shape. For my baby-size version, that means a fast finish that looks complicated - my favorite kind of quilt.

Plus, I guarantee you the pressing instructions are perfect. ;)

The borders are a delightful Chez Moi print and the only new fabric in the quilt - I figure every stash buster deserves a new border.

{I majorly big puffy heart the little churn dashes made by the sashing cornerstones.}

Jennie's version, full size {66x80"}, uses 30 F8s of Kate Spain's Horizon, and also looks fantastic! I'm excited about this because F8s are becoming very popular, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of patterns out there for them yet.

So, all you need now is the pattern {on Craftsy and $5 for one week!} and a F8 bundle.

Wait, what? How about WINNING a pattern and a F8 set?

Okay, right here you can only win a pattern. Poor you. Just a free awesome pattern. Use Rafflecopter below and tell me what F8 bundle, or color scheme, you'd use for Make It Do. {Stuck on a color scheme? Jennie just happens to host Color Mondays, where there are palettes galore!}

Then, head on over to her blog for another chance to win a pattern. And read all about her inspiration and thoughts on the pattern.

THEN, head on over to her Instagram, where you can win a F8 bundle from Westwood Acres!
