The Winner Is - a Finished T-Shirt Quilt

  The quilt name is a song title - not that I automatically think the quilt is a winner. {But it is.}

And it's all Texas! Except for the Washington Blerch. Which is practically glowing in every picture. Sorry. It's neon. And it doesn't help that I had to add the cupcake in the skinny strip.

Lots of these shirts are Texas relay races, which sound very cool! I've wanted to run a relay - Ragnar, or Spokane to Sandpoint, or Hood to Coast - for years. Maybe I'll finally get a chance in Texas!

The backing is this fantastic taco print from Joann's. Totally just makes you smile. Overall stipple for the quilting, and a nice unfilled label to finish it off.

The binding, I just love. I originally bought it because I thought it matched another fabric pull. {Which I still haven't done anything with yet.} And it most definitely did not. So it sat in my stash for at least a year. Then my client said binding was up to me, so I pulled out a couple yellows and reds before spotting this one. It matches everything in this quilt. And of course, I forgot to write down the selvage info. Sigh.

See? How perfect is that binding? I knew it bought it for a reason.
