WiP - Focused

  So how did the first week chock full of New Year resolve AND kids at school go? Not bad at all.

During the week, I cut out t-shirt quilt pieces, and sashed the ones that are getting sashing. Only a few more to go before assembly.

Then during the week, I decided to do a little selfish sewing, and started putting together the blocks for Daisy Chain. I can barely read my notes, so I hope I made the right number of blocks...so far I have 23 blocks done and several more partially pieced.

And as leaders/enders for both, I continued making HSTs for the QOV top. I also cut and added in some of the cream spacer blocks to see how it will all look....and if I'll have enough cream! {If not, I have a ton of the red and blue, so I'll shrink the inside and add a border.}

And a gratuitous cat picture. CC and Creamsicle are two tuxedo-ed peas in a pod. If a pod is a place you take hardcore naps with your sister. Just ignore the unmade bed - I wash the sheets on Mondays, so right after this picture, I rudely kicked them out of their nest.
